PCF Announces Registration Is Open for The 2025 CSA Produce Subscription
We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for our 2025 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Subscription Box! This subscription provides community members and SNAP/EBT users with a unique opportunity to receive fresh, locally grown produce weekly while directly supporting our mission to enhance local food access and education.
What To Expect
Subscribers can look forward to 17 weeks of CSA boxes filled with 5-7 varieties of fresh, seasonal produce, all grown locally at the Partridge Creek Community Farm in downtown Ishpeming. Each subscription also includes weekly emails with healthy, budget-friendly recipes, making it easy to prepare delicious meals with the produce.
The 2025 CSA Subscription pick-up will take place on Wednesdays, beginning June 25th to October 15th, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Partridge Creek Community Farm located at 550 Cleveland Ave in Ishpeming.
Why Join a CSA?
"Joining a CSA is more than just getting fresh produce. It's about connecting with your community in a meaningful way. You'll enjoy the freshest, locally grown food, and build relationships with the farmers who grow your food. It’s a fun and rewarding way to support local agriculture, and feel more connected to what’s on your plate." -Danielle Sidor, PCF Food Access Manager
In 2024, Partridge Creek Farm’s CSA Subscription program fed a total of 30 community members and families. During the season, PCF distributed a total of 406 boxes of fresh produce to their members, featuring over 40 different seasonal types of fruits and vegetables. This program is especially vital to the Ishpeming community, where 18.3% of our population faces poverty and food insecurity, according to the United States Census Bureau. Providing accessible weekly produce options for the community is a main priority of PCF, ensuring that our community has access to sufficient quantities of affordable and nutritious food.
