On October 24th, volunteers gathered with PCF staff at The Intergenerational Farm for the final Weekly Volunteer Day of the 2024 growing season. Together, they cleared crops and prepared the farm for the winter months ahead.

Partridge Creek Farm Staff members attended the day long Food Distribution Symposium led by Michigan State University (MSU) Center for Regional Food Systems, MSU Product Center, hosted at Barrel and Beam in Marquette, MI. The objective of this conference was to tackle food distribution issues in the Upper Peninsula.

Partridge Creek Farm is delighted to share that we have received the Superior Health Foundation Grant to launch our Farm to School Summer Camp in 2025. This grant allows us to offer Marquette County youth three weeks of engaging outdoor learning from June to August.

In the final week of August, we said goodbye to our outstanding Summer Interns with a celebratory farm feast, recognizing their remarkable contributions. While we are sad to see them go, we are immensely proud of their achievements.

Partridge Creek Farm (PCF) is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the Innovation Hub Award for the Food Futures Project: Connecting Rural Production, Procurement, and Processing in the UP through Education, Collaboration, and Community. PCF is one of only two Michigan organizations to receive this award.
