PCF Welcomes Exciting Visitors to Intergenerational Farm

Rotary Club Bring Special International Guests to tour the Farm

On an exciting Farm Stand and Skill Share Wednesday, the Rotary Club of Marquette, alongside special guests—farmers from the country of Georgia—visited the Intergenerational Farm. The tour provided the Georgian farmers with insights into farming practices suited to the U.P. climate. PCF staff led the tour, offering valuable information, while the visiting farmers shared their own experiences and posed insightful questions.

MDARD and State Representative Jenn Hill Visit Intergenerational Farm

Director of MDARD (Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) Tim Boring and Michigan State Representative Jenn Hill recently visited the PCF Intergenerational Farm to explore our efforts in fostering a hyperlocal food system. The purpose of their visit was to gain insight into how PCF delivers fresh produce to the community at affordable and accessible prices, and to understand the significance of providing fresh food to the community.

Partridge Creek Farm Directors conducted a detailed tour, discussing our growing practices and programs and explaining how PCF efficiently and affordably distributes fresh food to the community.
