The 2025 Healthy Cooking Program Returns!
On January 15th, Partridge Creek Farm's Education Coordinator enthusiastically welcomed Ishpeming Middle School's 5th graders into the cafeteria for their very first Healthy Cooking lesson. The following day, PCF Education Coordinator Keats hosted the 6th graders for a session focused on refreshing their knife skills and reinforcing Healthy Cooking expectations.
Both classes practiced their knife skills by slicing locally grown carrots from MSU North Farm and cucumbers, which were then paired with hummus for tasting. The Healthy Cooking program provides students with the opportunity to learn new healthy recipes while exploring and enjoying nutritious new foods.
Thank You To Our Healthy Cooking Partners & Sponsors
The Healthy Cooking Program was made possible by the support of the West End Health Foundation, who generously funded our 2025 Healthy Cooking program, and supported us in purchasing new equipment for the program. Thank you also, to the Marquette Food Co-op , for supplying our students with fresh locally grown produce!
